I run my art business alongside working as a SEND teaching assistant. Working in a school gives me endless opportunities to be creative with the kids, I love it! I left school with top A-Level Art marks and went on to attend Newcastle University to study Fine Art. I quickly realised it wasn't for me and left to set up my own art business by 2014. My first commission was a huge job that kickstarted my business; two giant murals in a local soft play's party rooms.

Since then, I have painted murals in schools, care homes and children's bedrooms across the North East. After forming a relationship with the owners of the soft play, I was asked to face paint at some of their parties and events. I drew up some designs and before I knew it, parents were asking to hire me for their own children's parties! This became a huge part of my business and I absolutely loved working with the children at each event. This is originally what inspired me to become qualified as a teaching assistant. My portraits of family members and pets came a little later on in my business but now are the most popular service I offer. It started with a friend asking me if I could draw her family dog and since then has escalated into what it is today.
